CHIC Signs Contract with Menam Development for Design and Decoration of Salaya One Residence Project Worth Over 50 Million Baht
CHIC Public Company Limited, or CHIC, has signed a business collaboration agreement with Menam Development Co., Ltd., the developer of the Salaya One Residence, a premium mixed-use condominium project valued at over 2.2 billion baht. CHIC has secured the design and decoration of eco-friendly furniture worth over 50 million baht, enhancing business potential and raising the standard of future living spaces for residents, creating unique selling points that cater to the needs of an exclusive lifestyle clientele.

Mr. Kijja Patmasattayasonti, Managing Director of CHIC Public Company Limited, a distributor of furniture, home decor, household items, mattresses, and bedding in a large standalone store format under the main brands "CHIC" and "RINA HEY," as well as imported products under the "Ashley" brand, stated that the company is pleased to have been entrusted with designing and decorating eco-friendly furniture using environmentally friendly materials to elevate the standard of future living spaces, addressing the needs of modern consumers and promoting a sustainable quality of life for residents. The project, valued at over 50 million baht, is expected to commence operations in the first quarter of 2023.

“The company is moving forward with its business plan, accelerating the expansion of comprehensive design and interior decoration services for condominium projects, apartment buildings, housing estates, restaurants, cafes, and hotels, starting with the Salaya One Residence project. Mr. Decha Tangsit, Chairman of Menam Development Co., Ltd., stated that the company is a property developer focused on constructing green buildings to promote the well-being of residents. They are preparing to launch their latest project, “Salaya One Residence,” a premium mixed-use condominium project, in collaboration with Siam Cement Group (Thaluang) Co., Ltd. and Saengfa Construction. The project will utilize environmentally friendly construction technologies and innovations, with leading engineers and architects working alongside the management team of Menam Development from design through construction, decoration, and maintenance. The mixed-use building will also be certified under the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) standards set by the U.S. Green Building Council, which considers sustainable energy and environmental practices.
Furthermore, the company recognizes the importance of environmental management standards (ISO 14001: 2015) and has collaborated with experts from the Faculty of Environment and Resource Studies at Mahidol University to design and develop construction methods that align with the organization's environmental policies, ensuring sustainability and building customer confidence while enhancing the company's competitive potential.
